About Me

My love for music has been with me my whole life. 

 

I took my first music lessons at the age of six, and at eight, I composed my first song.

 

By the time I was fifteen, I was getting booked for gigs, in addition to performing at piano recitals and talent shows.

 

I've been providing live music ever since. 

 

It's been my pleasure to perform in front of large gatherings, as well as in more intimate settings as a pianist/vocalist.

 

Being a musician helped me work my way through college, and I eventually earned a Bachelor's Degree from Cleveland State University.

 

At the age of twenty, I joined an all-occasion/wedding band (these were the days before DJs), for several years, while still doing solo gigs. 

 

Currently, I focus on solo gigs, duo, or trios. But, on occasion, I still get requested to assemble larger bands for dances.

 

I've performed for local corporations in Cleveland, foundation fundraising events, and private parties throughout Ohio as well as regionally in Baltimore and Wheeling. 

 

Frequently, I serve as the pianist/vocalist at prestigious hotels such as The Renaissance Hotel and Ritz Carlton, along with performing at:

 

• The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 

• The nationally-known Nighttown 

• The BLU Jazz Restaurant of the nationally-known BLU Jazz in Akron, Ohio

• The Jack Casino in downtown Cleveland.

 

Country clubs, restaurants, lounges, party centers, as well as churches, and assisted living facilities are all among various venues where I've performed.

 

I'm a proud member of Cleveland's Local 4 Musicians Union,

whose officers feel confident sending gigs my way. I'm on a first-call basis to perform for various venues and private parties.

 

Stylistically, I have a strong affinity for the jazz standards, bossa nova, the "Great American Songbook," Soul, Van Morrison, Billy Joel, and others. My warm baritone voice and eclectic repertoire create just the right atmosphere.

 

In addition to the piano, I've performed as a steel drum player for Carribean-themed events. I've also been featured as a guitarist/vocalist, mixing in a few original compositions that have been well-received.

 

 I consider it a great privilege to be a musician.
